The service was impeccable, the rooms were comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Overall, my stay at the Equinox Hotel New York was absolutely amazing. The service was also excellent, and I felt like I was truly being pampered. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Electric Lemon, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a customized facial, and it was one of the best I've ever had. I also took advantage of the hotel's spa, which offers a wide variety of treatments. We were able to book a cycling class at the concierge desk. The facility is massive, and it has everything you could possibly need to get a great workout. The food arrived promptly - coffee was warm and the food was delicious.Īfter breakfast we headed to the hotel's gym, which is one of the most impressive I've ever seen. The menu boasts a variety of options ranging from health conscious smoothies, eggs, pastries, and many vegan/vegetarian options. In the morning we ordered from the hotel's extensive in-room dining menu. The amenities were also top-notch, including a Nespresso machine, a minibar, and a variety of wellness items such as a complementary yoga mat and skin care. Many of the electronics in the room can be activated with the in-room iPad. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed (double duvets!), a large bathroom, and a beautiful view of both the city and the river. The hotel is located in the heart of Hudson Yards, so it’s perfectly situated for exploring all that New York City has to offer. The check in process was quick and easy, and I was immediately impressed by the luxurious lobby. We arrived at the hotel just in time for check-in, and we were greeted immediately by a friendly doorman who helped us with our luggage and brought it up to the lobby. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Equinox Hotel New York, for a brief staycation and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. Other locations in NYC charge different for a day pass too.Īll in all, I felt sorry for guests who pay to stay at the hotel but may not be able to enjoy the facilities with ease as a hotel guest in such category of hotel would expect. Note that despite many EQX Clubs give you gym access if you book a spa treatment, the Hudson Yards/hotel does not extend the same grace. As a gym member (not at this location though) I knew where to go by reading online. Plus, when I arrived for a spa treatment, there was nobody on the ground floor entrance to direct me where to go. For the nightly rate the EQX hotel goes for you have better options in NYC. You will be called upon to leave the chair if you just assume it’s first come first served. Despite many being open, it’s not first come first served. The most ridiculous is that there is a “waiting list” for the pool chairs. I second comments about the outdoor pool.
